I am hoping Boyle moves to wing rather then moving up to 3rd line center. I wouldnt mind seeing Rupp traded now that we have Asham.

Love the signing. Vet leader with the best faceoff percentage on our team. Def should help on the Pk with Faceoffs, and maybe in a second PP guy for the draw in the zone.

Good signing for us. Halpern is a very good face off man and can put the puck in the net too. An upgrade, albeit older, from Mitchell.

Net/net = marginally better players, overall, on ice with added $2.1mm cap space. Decent work by Sather. The extra $2.1mm can be used to further improve the club.

Asham's a huuuge downgrade. Prust could actually play hocky and fill a role. Asham probably isn't an every night player. I'm not sure if Halpern's an upgrade. He'll win some face-offs but after that he's no more useful than Mitchell. Pyatt and Fedotenko's probably close. I'm not crazy about what we've done. We've added a bunch of ****** players so I'll wait to see what he does after this.

Prust's play was vastly overrated. 2 years ago he was very good. Last year, he was not impressive.
