Hoping we advance to the NLCS! I really think we will be taking on the Pirates.

Arrieta is due for a bad game.. But who knows in WC game anything can happen.

I don't think Cards are making it out of NLDS..

I was definitely wrong. lol Thought the pirates would come out swinging and hit like crazy but nope. They had a good year.

This is going to be a fun series to watch. Hopefully regardless of outcome it goes 5. I think we are fine and can get to the NLCS don't know where the non confidence comes from. I see no reason not to believe in this team.

Only thing that worries me is our starters have been pretty awful as of late.

I'm hoping the rest helps guys like Lackey and Lynn. Wacha's issue is he is falling behind in counts and his mechanics don't seem right, he's gotta get that right Which Won't be easy without pitching in games, hopefully bullpen sessions can get it right

I'm curious how the Cubs will stack their rotation. I'm not sure if they will bring Lester back on short rest in Game 4, they don't have a clear cut guy that seems they would definitely want to pitch Games 2 and 5. Almost seems to just have Lester on regular rest and Haren and Hendricks pitch Games 2 and 4. It probably depends on how the series is going, if they are facing elimination in Game 4, they will probably pitch Lester on short rest.

Can't help but think how MM mailed in that last series and now it's gonna be anywhere between 8 to 10 days off for guys. Ik they needed rest and don't really care about the losses to Braves. But teams that have had to much time off coming into playoffs tend to struggle.

Imo this team played their best ball from April thru Aug. Sept was a joke and how the milage on a handful of players degraded their performance in 2nd half.

It proly sounds defeatist but I don't see this team winning more then 1 game in the postseason. To many injuries and trends heading in wrong direction. Plus good Ole MM will do some stupid stuff to cost his team at critical points.

I did not expect to have Lackey as our game 1 starter, and I like it
