I looked it up and our odds should be good...do you know how they choose who gets it if there is a lockout?

In 05 they did it with the teams with the fewest playoff appearances over the previous 3 seasons along with where their picks landed in the previous 4 seasons. If they do this again, we did have those 2 seasons where we didn't have a 1st rounder followed by 2 low 1st in Biggs and Percy. What would hurt our odds is the fact we've drafted in the top 10 3 out of the past 5 seasons with one being a lottery pick.

I watched BB reply to the question ,why are the Leafs ranked 122/122
by ESPN . His reply ESPN dont know hockey /leafs. Their broadcast of hockey stink. Well thats all well and good if you ignore the fans who pay high
prices for everything to do with the leafs but receive 3 rd rate teams.
If all you worry about is profit then I undestand his stance but value
to the fans isnt on his horizon apparently.

Blackhawks signed Michael Rozsival today to a 1yr 2M contract. Thats a steal for a vet like him to is quite solid. I wonder if Burke and his staff are even still looking for guys?

I'm not losing much sleep over Michal Rozsival but that's pretty decent value for a guy whose a good bottom pairing defender in this league

I think Komisarek is up at the end up next season. Lombardi and Connolly are up at the end of this season. That's over 7 mill saved from just those two.

If there isn't a lockout this year I see Connolly and Lombardi being moved for picks, despite how much fans dislike them, they could give other teams some decent depth down the middle.
