Strasburg. Trout is having a great year, thinking he will maintain that throughout a career is not realistic. Strasburg has already had surgery and he's still dealing, I think he'll easily be the better pick in the long run (strong starting pitchers are rarer than strong position players).

Thanks to vick27m for the userbar.

straaburg. young pitching is harder to find that young hitting and pitching is what wins championships

    What?

I would take Strasburg, Felix, Kemp, Kershaw, and probably some more before I take Trout.

Trout has been the best player in baseball recently...

To answer the question, I probably take Trout, but I can't say I'd be upset if I took Strasburg

Trout has a 6.9 WAR, 0.9 more than the next best player (McCutchen) and has played roughly 15-20 less games.

    I'll take Trout.

I don't like comparing a single position player to a single pitcher.

The value is difficult to define.

Yeah I agree its tough to compare because their position is valued differently. Now if one was flat out wrost then the other then I could make a decision but I'll have to stand neutral here

Right now, the pick is Trout. There are too many injury questions looming around Strasburg.
