    Strasburg. Trout is having a great year, thinking he will maintain that throughout a career is not realistic. Strasburg has already had surgery and he's still dealing, I think he'll easily be the better pick in the long run (strong starting pitchers are rarer than strong position players).

    Trout has a 6.9 WAR, 0.9 more than the next best player (McCutchen) and has played roughly 15-20 less games.

    I'll take Trout.

    I don't like comparing a single position player to a single pitcher.

    The value is difficult to define.
    To those that do not know mathematics it is difficult to get across a feeling as to the beauty, the deepest beauty of baseball. If you want to learn about baseball, to appreciate baseball, it is necessary to understand the language she speaks.

    Yeah I agree its tough to compare because their position is valued differently. Now if one was flat out wrost then the other then I could make a decision but I'll have to stand neutral here
