I agree. Suh isnt a "Dirty" Player. He is actually a really cool guy off the field. When on the field he plays the way the game should be played. I loved watching football when guys would mangle opposing players for fun. It is part of the game. Soon enough Roger Goodell will try to make the NFL the NFFL (National Flag Football League), He is ruining football and what it represents.

Per a league source, Lions have hired Brian Xanders, formerly of the Broncos, for their front office

I just read an article on detroitlions.com from Tim Twentyman who mentioned that KVB and Cliff Avril really do not fit into the DET's wide 9 defensive scheme and it would be surprising if either of them were back.
Since he practically lives at the Allen Park facility, I usually consider Twentyman a pretty reliable source. If you are doing a mock draft, DE's with speed whom can get after the QB is the primary ability the lions seem to be looking for

that's not what he said. he said suh and fairley dont fit as ends in a wide nine scheme.
Q. Even if the Lions draft a DE. Are Ndamukong Suh or Nick Fairley athletic enough to play DE in the absence of Kyle Vanden Bosch or Cliff Avril? From Donald
A. They don't fit what the Lions do at defensive end. This scheme likes to get their defensive ends out wide and more in line for a straight shot at the quarterback. Doing that takes a little more speed on a consistent basis than either of them possess.
Additionally, I'm not a big proponent of taking a player out of a position he excels at to experiment or fill a weakness somewhere else.
Suh and Fairley are two of the top young three-technique defensive tackles in the NFL. I'll make an early prediction and say both of them will be in the hunt for a Pro Bowl nod in 2013.
The Lions are building around those two guys as the centerpiece to their line and if they can find themselves a good young edge rusher in April's draft, then they're onto something.
**** warren sapp!
...just sayin
Sounds like someone needs to buy him a plane ticket to come teach suh...
But IDK, I mean looking at the stats our DLINE was one of the hardest to run on, So is the fact that teams are running right at suh because he cant run stop or is it because we have one of the worst tackling back 7s in the league?

The back 7 looked like school children last year trying to tackle people. They basics of tackling: wrapping up a guy and bringing him down were lost on those morons.
