Still doesn't make sense to me.

Sure, allows the to sign AK47 for $10M per season, but what does that accomplish?

Doesn't make they playoff bound, won't ease pressure off Love, plus for the second year in row they won't have a 1st round pick.

    Rubio/Ridnour/Barea
    Roy/Shved
    Kirilenko/Bud
    Love/Williams
    Pekovic/Stemisma

They will have a hard time making the playoffs in the West.

It would nice to see them trade D-Will for Gasol and go for a all white/ euro team.

Seriously though, 10 million for AK is an overpay big time, he really wasn't that good the past few years and he's really old now

Deng's contract continues to look good to me.

    $10M/yr for AK47
    $10M/yr for Gerald Wallace

What happened with John Lucas signing with the Raptors? Has it been made official yet? I heard after the James Johnson trade cleared he would sign but James Johnson was traded over a week ago.

Can the bulls sign players like Mike James to an unguaranteed contract, and waive him when D.Rose comes back?

Can anyone help me on that?

    Found it myself...

January 10 - Contracts guaranteed for rest of season (see question number 91). Players who do no clear waivers prior to this date are guaranteed.

M.Teague has until January 10 to be a NBA player. Not signing a 4th PG could work.

They can sign Mike James and other point guards to two 10-day contract each, until D.Rose comes back.

The three team trade between Wolves, Suns, and NOH may not go through for what ever reason. If it doesn't the Wolves will have find a way to shed salaries to sign AK47.

Would any one take the deal that they were offering? Bulls get Wes Johnson and a 1st, through Korvers TPE, the Wolves get 2 2nd round picks.

I don't think Wes would get much PT, but if we can offload Rip to a contender at the deadline, he would be decent coming off the bench; move Butler to starting SG, while having Belinelli and Wes backing up Butler and Deng. Plus, we get another 1st for taking on the salary.
