Started to scare myself.
Damn, was looking forward to those khaki pants too.
I'm like a switch. I could flip back the other way tomorrow big guy don't worry!
Okay. As much as I'd be pissed to move Val, okay.
Johan Franzen hasn't played centre since his rookie season. He can play both wings though. He's extremely lazy, and settles for wrist shots from the blue line. He rarely moves his feet, and has had some problems with his ACL. I think he's got like 9 years left too.
Val Filppula is better than Johan Franzen. He moves his feet, and is actually a #2C here. He'd be your #1C. He got it done in the middle last season, and on the wing. Great two-way game, and his offensive game is really developing. He put up 64 points last season.

To be fair, he's played 7 seasons in the NHL. In 6 seasons, he's played at least 69 games.
I think it's a bit of both to be fair. I think Steve Mason lost his confidence or something. However, a big part of his success has got to go to Ken Hitchcock. He builds the best systems for his goaltenders.
So because he has played 7 seasons its ok hes hurt a lot??....theres hope for tim connolly
lol what? He had one year where he only played a third of the season.

How is this considered an injury risk? Franzen and Connolly shouldn't even be in the same discussion. Sure Tim's first 4 years were healthy, but after that he played: 63, 2, 48, 48, 73, 68, 70
