How so? Lebron never took a franchise that didn't win anything prior to him arriving to a title like Duncan did. I'm ok saying both guys are same level and things, but when building a franchise you take a guy who has led a franchise to a title/titles that never won before. Granted this is if the players are relatively close overall.

If he were better he would have led the Cavs to a title like Duncan did the Spurs both franchises who had won nothing prior to those stars arriving.

JB your rationale is terrible. Simply saying that a player is not good because someone before him already won a championship negates so many rings. Thats the only argument you ever use against Lebron. Duncan had DAVID ROBINSON who had won the league MVP just a few years before. Duncan is my 2nd favorite player of all time (behind Kidd). There are better ways to make an argument than that..

Why not? I believe he's better, he may have fewer rings but he just entered he's peak, and will possibly add more rings in his resume.

How is that any different from Lebron having Shaq or Ben Wallace or Wade guys who won titles a few years before and as the only allstar on the team and/or won 3 finals mvp's?
