Will Angelo Gumbs be ready for to replace Cano next season?

Hopefully Gary Sanchez is one of them. We built from the middle of the field out with the young kids. Posada, Jeter, Andy, Bernie and Mo....Who do you guys see taking over those spots?

Basically I could see 2015 roster of Tyler Austin, Mason Williams, Slade Heathcott! Gary Sanchez and Angelo Gumbs and all starting!

Unfortunately the pitching prospects have been hurt or fell apart.....Jose Campos has a better shot to make it than Banuelos IMO.....

Banuelos is 21, Has already pitched at Triple-A over part of last two seasons. He pitched in 24 innings before getting injured. He has 3-4 plus pitches. He is also a lefty. Yeah he had surgery, but he will come back as strong, if not stronger.

Campos has a LOT to prove. He also had an injury and hasn't pitched above A-ball yet. He pitched 24 innings in A ball this year before getting injured.

My concern was the injury....Hopefully you are correct and he is stronger....that is a golden arm......

Well Campos has an injury too. So to say he's a more sure thing then Man Ban, is ludacris!

But from what I read was Campos injury was not as bad as Manny's.

Manny had Tommy John Surgery. It's a common surgery now and usually doesn't impact a guys career..(Strausburg as an example)

Campos has elbow issues, that sidelined him almost all of last year.

He didn't have surgery, but knowing the Yankees organization, he will soon have one.

I would be pretty shocked if Campos doesn't have some sort of surgery within the first month of the season.

Wel, it is smart in some ways so in 2017 it doesn't ruin our Aug/Sept run......

I'm pretty sure that electing to forgo surgery in the beinning one season only to have it done in the beginning of the following season is never a smart move.
