Nunez, Betances and some fillers to Colorado for Marco Scutaro, Ramon Hernandez and Matt Belisle? If I'm Cashman, I'm on the phone trying to make that happen. Get us a good utility infielder, a backup catcher who can actually hit, and a stud reliever to fortify the bullpen. Fix all of our weaknesses in one move.

    Ramon Hernandez is batting .193.

Small sample size (32 games played this year, 128 plate appearances), last year he hit .288/.341/.446 with 12 homers in a 328 plate appearances.

I think he'd be an upgrade over Stewart/Martin at the very least.

Also, he gave me my best baseball memory. Last year, I skipped school to go see the Reds' opening day, and he hit a walk-off home run to cap an awesome comeback. So I guess I'm a bit biased.

But Scutaro and Belisle would be great acquisitions. I think Camp from the Cubs would be a great pickup if the price for Belisle is too high.

BBDP update... Mason Williams hits homerun number 11 on the season. I don't think any top 50 list can ignore him after this season.

Derek Jeter is a lucky man.

agreed, the power the Yanks were hoping for that would show up later when they drafted him is finally starting to show up. He's already hitting .270 in 21 games in High A. A Cfer with plus speed, plus defense, plus hit tool and above avg power will probably end up in alot of top 20 list if he finishes the yr strong

just wanted to give a little update on Depaula's numbers

What's up with Ronnie Mustelier? He's on the 7 day DL. Hasn't played since July 15.

Anyone know the nature of the injury?

Not sure, but it would be nice if he came back soon, I'd like to see him play in A-Rod's place.

Is third base his natural position?

I know he plays the outfield and infield, I just don't know his actual natural position.

Third base is his best position. He plays above average there, average in the outfield, and below average at second according to scouting reports. Those can be inaccurate though with such a small sample size.

Someone needs to fire Stevie Wonder as head of Baseball America.

Phelps is our best prospect and Montero is awful.

Phelps is fantastic. Rather have him than Freddy.

As for RM, hopefully he gets the call up he's been so deserving of.

That's for your fantasy team, right? In real life, nothing like that is happening.

Anybody else think Saxon Butler should be promoted to Charleston? Not sure what type of prospect Reymond Nunez is but Butler is not being challenged in S.I.
