    What became of Pineda?

Out of the U.S. and lost contact on some of the news on the yankees, so I lost info on the latest pineiro saga. ..so could some one tell me what the yankees did about him? Googled said only old stuff about him.

I believe he was lost at the prison before the Governor attacked.

As far as Pineiro is concerned, RJ has written 15 critically acclaimed novels. So maybe the yankees read his books.
Rafael is the first deputy commissioner of the NYPD. So maybe they gave him some free tickets.
Joel Pineiero was last seen pitching somewhere in the Orioles organization. The yankees lit him up.

If you meant Pineda, he's still rehabbing and on schedule to be back by mid season.

    Good stuff!
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

I last read he was throwing breaking balls and would be available after the All Star Break...I certainly hope so and if he stays healthy will be a solid starter going forward.

I was glad to see DePaula mowed down 11 yesterday! While it's not AAA, it's a positive start to hopefully a great career? The Yanks are due some good luck in regards to young pitchers, imo .

He was designated for assignment and picked up by Panera Bread.
