    Tim Tebow and the .......

...4 TE offense. (inspired BY NE)

Think about it, big strong QB who can run, four big guys who can run and one speed receiver to back off db's. Imagine an offense with four 250 (more) pounders coming at you from everywhere. Yep, running with the ball, catching dump offs, short stuff, something Tebow could manage. By the middle of the third quarter any defense would be wearing down dealing with the stress 250 pounders would put on them.

Yes I know, just a fantasy, but I think it would work.

just some info from a denver fan that was his most major flaw was dump offs and short stuff to the outside and over the middle thats where he needed to work.....if he gets that down he will be virtually unstoppable

What this man says is true. Tebow was great 25 to 35 yards out. It was the 5 to 15s he really really sucked at.

I would rather have Bennie and The Jets than Tebow and The Jets.

Looks like a plan that will/could work! Do you work on offensive game plans for collegiate or one of the semi/professional leagues?

Tebow is best when he and his fellow runners can pound the rock up the middle 25 times a game, and then throw it deep often. His struggles often came on passes 15 yards and closer, had lots of trouble putting the right touch on the ball.

Like my fellow Bronco fan said, if he can ever get a hold of the strike zone on short passing, combining it with his great deep ball and his obvious running skill for a QB, he's going to be unstoppable. I don't know if he ever will, but I'll be rooting for the Jets when he's in the game, that's for sure.

For this to work you still need some speed on the field for a deep threat. Or else teams will just run a tight short zone with base personel. There are plenty of teams that are gonna run a primarily 2-TE offense this year and some that are preparing to run the occasional 3-TE offense as well.

Even if this does work teams will adjust.... The whole reason teams are going to these tight end offenses are to offset the 3-4 defense. With teams running tight ends on both sides a 3-4 defense doesn't know which is the strong side and where to rush.

The Tennessee Titans are well aware of teams going this direction as they drafted a Taylor Thompson a 6-6 260 basketball-type project tight end in the 5th round. But more importantly they drafted Zach Brown in the 2nd round with the anticipation of using his 6'2 240 frame and 4.3/4.4-40 speed to cover tight ends in what they are calling their big nickel package. Other teams in the league are doing the same thing and more teams will do it in the future.

My fantasy involves four 250 pound (more) MILFs with huge bazongas coming at me from everywhere in a hot tub. It's more realistic than yours.

The Jets have drafted Demario Davis to cover T.E.s too. However, no one knows if these backers are able to cover the new Tight Ends. Certainly, no one has stopped Gronk or Graham, yet.

I am not sure if the word Milf and 250 lbs can be in the same sentence.

That's the thing, they're 250, but perfectly proportioned.

You're talking to me all wrong... It's the wrong tone. You do it again and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron. Hey, tell me, does your mother sew? BOOM. Get her to sew that!

If you don't have some speedy receivers there to stretch the field, teams will sniff it out fast with a big D set (bear, 46, etc.). You want a 2 point conversion or inside the 10? yeah I'd do that all day long.
