and if I make the playoffs, I seriously hope I get a good matchup Need to play someone with a weak D and weak defensive forwards, or a team that takes a lot of penalties. If all those come in to play, I should be alright 1st round playoff exit would be fine, though. I built up a nice future and have a team with quite a few younger guys.
I had fun doing this and I am sure your team will do just fine. If only I was able to acquire Lecavalier, oh what might have been haha

We worked so much on that trade

This is probably the first mock where I was not able to pull off a lot of trades, though. Usually I keep like 4 guys from the original team haha At least now I have some chemistry. Besides a completely new bottom 4 D and goalie... But the D are vets, they fit the system, it should be fine.

So that's what you need to get with Elisha Cuthbert

The East definitely has more teams that should make the playoffs. There's probably at least two teams that are not going to make it in the East that would've in the West.

As will I. but I can see me finishing 9th for some reason. Lots of good teams in the East and I don't think many people here are very high on Lehtonen or a D without an elite D.

I'll be disappointed without the playoffs for sure, but definitely wouldn't be surprised. Unless of course a team clearly worse than me gets in haha

We could use about 4 more votes.

What's also neat about this voting system is that I think we will see what the seeding will be 1-15. Now THAT'S cool.

I only looked into acquiring him once it was clear he would only come to Montreal. It sucks that he wouldn't waive to play with you guys but it is what it is.

I **** you not it took us weeks to negotiate and we still couldn't get it done. Call it stubbornness (or a Co who was impossible to please) and it never came to fruition.

    Conference Seeding RESULTS

Results were figured out using a point system. For example, if someone was voted a #4 seed, then they would receive 5 points, #5 seed would get 4 points and so on. Again, if you are curious about your specific results, contact me. I will provide screenshots if you want to see them (just give me some time to upload them if I have to).

#1-3 seeds and #4-8 seed points were distributed separately. Hopefully you know what I mean by that.

Just wanted to give a shout out to all the teams that didn't make the playoffs. You all built great teams and I thank you for participating. Hopefully you will continue to as the voting goes on. I'll try to be efficient and quick, less painful. You still have best GM and best future to win.

    East Quarterfinals Arguments

If you are an Eastern Conference team and would like to present your team or argue why your team would win, feel free to debate here.

I highly suggest putting any sort of write up in the clubhouses, as there will be more of a chance it will be read there.
