    Re-draft - 2nd round: #1 Red Star Belgrade vs #5 Barcelona

    Once or a twice year, PSD holds a Soccer ReDraft. In this game played by PSD users, all current active players in soccer go into a draft pool. A lottery is held to determine the order in 16 rounds of drafting, and GM's try to create the best team possible by drafting and trading players.

    This first round match-up features 1st seeded Red Star Belgrade versus 5th seeded Barcelona. Their respective rosters, formations, and write-ups are listed below:

    Barcelona's superior everywhere except Red Star have Messi instead of Tevez and Pirlo instead of Ramires

    pretty much. the speed of my wings and midfield will create a lot of problems for Red Belgrade.

    Barcelona has a very solid team. Dont know how they ended up being the 5th seed.

    Barcelona's weakness is that the wings don't defend well. Red Star has a similar issue though. Barcelona has better defense in the axis so I'll go with them. High scoring game imo.

    I have to go with Red Star Belgrade on this one, on account of the fact I think Barcelona's defence is weaker, and I don't fancy their midfield being able to cover the defensive holes AND deal with the penetration of KP Boating/Messi. Have to add Pirlo picking out passes to the equation too.

    Also think Red Star have two great attacking options on the bench, Lucas Moura and Leandro Damiao. That being said, Barcelona are still a good side. But I have to go with Red Star.
