We've been watching your free agent status closely and realized that we couldn't let you sit on the market any longer without an offer. We love what you bring in your ability to create shots and how efficient of a shooter you are. The Pacers are building one of the best bench mobs in the entire league. Currently though all we are missing is our back-up point guard. With you on board we can promise you 14-18 MPG playing behind Curry as our back-up PG. You would join a bench mob of Matt Barnes - Hedo Turkoglu - Brandon Bass. We believe with you on board we could have one of the most dynamic benches in the league. Your shooting and your playmaking would be well appreciated here in Indiana. With all that said, we will offer you a 2 year $1,985,360 with a player's option in the second year.
Year 1: $992,680
Year 2: $992,680 (PO)
We hope that you would love your role here at Indiana and come join a team that has a legitimate chance at winning a title not just this year but for years to come.
We would like to match the pacers offer. We would give you 20mins per game. As of right now we do not have astarting SG. We have contacted Foye to be our starting SG but either way you will get 20-25 mins per game playing next to Nash-Dwight and KG. We hope that you choose us and help us bring a championship Houston. If you have any concerns or thoughts let us know.
We just want to make it a point though that although they are offering you the starting SG position they are out offering the mini-MLE to other options at the SG position. I wonder how truthful they really are to keeping their word to you, or valuing you for that matter.
The Rockets are right in that they rescinded their offer to Foye, but they did go and offer Mr. Shannon Brown the mini-MLE to play a back-up role to you and Mr. Nash. It just seems odd that they would offer a back-up player more money than you a player they so-called value and want to start for their team.
Houston is a very talented team indeed and although they are promising you a starting position. It just seems a bit sketchy that they would only match our offer when they have the means in which they could exceed our offer and give you want you want in a starter's position.
If we had the means to increase our offer we would, but we currently don't.
We value your skillset and we value what you can bring to our bench. You'll be a pivotal player in our rotation and believe you could really excel here in Indiana.
Come join the Pacers and win a championship here in Indy!
We would like to offer you the BAE to come to LA. You would play behind Kobe but get plenty of minutes because we want to keep him rested for our playoff run. You would join a team with the star power and scoring of Kobe and Blake Griffin, but also the defense of Tyson Chandler and Jason Kidd.
3 years, 7.5 mill
Also keep in mind Houston can match this offer if they choose too, and if they don't I think that shows their true feelings about their SG spot.
Tony Parker | Chauncey Billups | Rashard Lewis | Kevin Garnett | Radoslav Nesterovic
We at the Hornets value what you have meant to this organization. It is for that reason that we are going to be offering you a contract that exceeds the 2.5 million being offered by the Lakers. You will have our offer shortly. Thank you for your patience.
leaning towards LA due to the money but feels being the starter in Houston playing next Nash-KG-Howard is 100% where he wants to be. Will see if Houston can match the offer, and will see how much more New Orleans offers.
