Everyone's been calling Howson an idiot for not trading Nash but there's no sense in rushing Nash out the door with all those years left on his contract, especially considering he's coming off a down year.

We're going to have to give up too much for him. Move on.

The last thing Nash or the Team really wants is him still on that team and having to show up to camp.

I've been saying all along that Howson has to hit a home run with this deal, for his own good, the good of the team and as well for the good of Columbus.

Howson needs to move on from Nash and not keep expecting a team to bail out his 5 years of stupidity as a GM. It was his incompetent azzzz that couldn't build a team around Nash. He has to suffer the consequences. Honestly, ownership is a joke in Columbus. This loser should have been fired 2 years ago at the least.

This makes no sense at all. He failed to build a solid team around Nash therefore he must meet Sather's demands and trade him to New York?

    You guys are delusional.

Exactly. And yet, in spite of saying this: "We don't have a deadline," said Howson. "Rick's under contract and we'll continue to work at this…and we'll hope we get a resolution to this." somehow he approved the offer from the Rangers. Almost makes you wonder if he's really a Rangers fan!

Thats not what i was saying. My point was he was trying to make the market higher by playing everyone against each other but it kind of backfired. He was hoping for someone to want him so and they made a crazy offer and they didnt. He didnt have to trade him to NY no but he had to trade him before camp and all but one of us knows that. Sounded like last week the Wings also made a really good offer and i will assume it was better then the one we made
