If Nashville doesn't get players they are in trouble. So that means that they wouldn't just deal picks like you said they would ask for players in return.

I don't know who on Nashville would make sense for Toronto though. Colin Wilson? They certainly won't deal Ryan Ellis...

    So I don't know.

As for the NY trade if Columbus asked for Kreider and a 1st along with maybe Dubinsky then that's more fair. I just think they didn't get the top line prospect Howson was supposedly asking for, nor did they get a top 6 forward that he was asking for either.

Dubinsky in my eyes is not a top 6 guy, and Anisimov... I don't know. He could be, MAYBE. but that's at best.

Outside of Rinne, Weber and Suter, the team has no superstars and still manages to make the playoffs. They have never had any offensive studs and manage to win games. They are very well coached and play well in their system. Obviously losing Weber and Suter is a huge loss for the team, if Nashville doesn't match, but I still can't really see them falling to the basement.

I think Staois' position is player development advisor or something along those lines.

It's amazing what great goaltending does for a team.

Maybe while you're there you can approach Burke and tell him how much you detest everything he's done.

If he does that and has it on video i will agree with everything Lavy says from now until forever. Thats basically the opposite of what i actually think.
