It's going to be a brutal winter if there's no NHL going on.. They better get their situation straightened out soon.

They won't. The NHL offered the NHLPA a deal and apparently they are going to reject it according to Dreger. A lot of players such as Malkin are already looking over seas to play this year.

    It's a **** show.

    Keep them both Nonis.

I'm so sick of people, whether it's the players or the owners, being greedy and being forced to suffer because of it. Is it too much to ask for these players to shut up and play? Why do they need so much money? Isn't a million dollars enough to pay for a nice house, a nice car, clothes, groceries for a year, pay bills off for a year?

They're all greedy and now the PA has a hard headed guy leading the charge in Fehr who won't back down like the previous PA director, who was a moron.

The thing that absolutely pissed me right the f off was when Bettman said last week that they weren't afraid of a lockout because "the fans will be back". You'd figure a guy wouldn't say something like that strictly because of PR. But here we are. The time of the year we shoud all be getting exicted we seem to be getting more and more sure of a lockout.

The lockout killed baseball to the point where a lot of teams are still struggling to put bodies in the bleachers....Bettman would crap if that ever happened in the NHL.

The day Bettman finally steps down or gets fired will be a day hockey fans everywhere will rejoice. Could somebody explain to me how this tool still has a job?

But the nhl is already struggling much more than mlb. Mlb has a few bad franchises, hockey has up to ten. Not to mention they have stadiums that hold three times as many ppl. The Nhl has Phoenix,Tampa,Miami,Carolina,NYI etc and thats even after moving Atlanta. The league is in no position to gamble with the fans. They already rely heavily on Canadian markets, if they go the lockout route then they are in fact the most idiotic businessmen we've ever seen. I swear these morons will never learn, I'm starting to wonder as a hockey fan and as someone in business whether these guys have any idea how devastating another lockout will be. Americans dont care as it is, its just a filler for when football isnt on.

Just got back from the Sting - Knights exhibition game...Leaf rookie camp invite Charlie Sarault had 4 points in the 6-2 win. Should challenge for the OHL scoring title this year.

Just got back from Dion Phaneuf's engagement party in PEI. He should challenge for a 2nd pairing roll with the team this year.
