Avs accept. Blum is a prospect I have always loved. He was very good in the AHL but his NHL game is not yet up to par, however I hae a ton of faith hecan succeed here because he will not have all of the competition of the Preds definsive stacked-ness. Hishon is good, and I loved the pick when the Avs drafted him, I called him the steal of the draft.. however he's risky and like McJoe said may never play hockey again. Siemans and Blum will be big corner stones to my D in about 2 years and having young NHLers like Petry, Nikitin, and Wilson, the Avs could have a bright future at defense.

Gudbranson is grossly grossly overated and hated being in Florida he has been nothing but a problem since being drafted.

Markstrom cant say much bad about him. Solid kid, solid goalie. Kipper is a legit top 5 on anyones list.
    What?

    Team: Columbus Blue Jackets
    Player: Rick Nash
Reason: Rick as you know we've actually been shopping you this off-season. We've had a few deals in place that fell through but we feel we've found a home for you. We'd like to send you to the Flyers organization where you have a chance to play with CG. We appreciate everything you've done for this organization but it's time we go our separate ways.

Rick is open to going to the East and Philadelphia. He will waive to go to Philly.

Bryz, you didn't play up to your potential this past year. We believe being in the spotlight of such a sports crazy high market like Philadelphia put too much pressure on you. You are very eccentric and we feel you will get back to yourself in a smaller market like Columbas. They have made steps towards competing, please consider this
Bryz, Columbus GM here. I'd like to tell you how excited we are with the opportunity to bring you on board to this team. We've made HUGE strides this off-season in building a contender. If you look at any successful team they are built from the net out. While some people say you struggled last season we felt you did well for playing in a new environment. With the additions of Yourself, Statsny, JVR and Voracek, Mesz & Read (who would be coming with you) We feel like this team could make a strong run in the playoffs. Bryz let me ask you a question, how would it feel to be the first goalie in Blue Jackets history to lift the Stanley Cup?
