    Too much 'Rain' in Miami?

Are there too much perimeter shooters in Miami? they now hold Miller, Jones, Allen, lewis, Battier and Chalmers....some of the best perimeter shooters in the NBA. Is there anything like too much 3 point shooters?

    Your thoughts...

Not really. Bron, Wade, and Bosh will all attract attention. Now you have players at every position that can hit threes.

lol can't have to many imo. lebron and wade need the floor spacers, and health is a concern with miller/allen/lewis based off last season. small ball ftw!

Miller may retire. Roster will look like this:

    Chalmers/ Cole/ Harris
    Wade/ Allen/ Jones
    Bron/ Battier/ Lewis
    Bosh/ Haslem/ Varnado
    Anthony/ Pittman/ Hamilton

You can never have too many shooters ... until you have too many shooters, which they don't.

Can't hurt to have a lot of players that can stroke it from outside. Like greg said, with so much attention being placed on the Big Three, these guys will get open looks many times.

Hmm I think LeBron will be playing more PF and Bosh will slide over to the 5, giving Allen more chance to play alongside them.

As long as your shooters are two way players who can play defense it doesn't matter.

Chalmers, Battier, and Allen are good defenders. Miller (healthy), Jones, and Lewis are just average, but not liabilities.

When you have a bunch of Mike Bibby, Jason Kapono, Kyle Korver, Steve Novak types, then it's a problem. You can only have 1 of these types on your team, and the coach has to pick and choose when to play them and how to hide them on defense.

I wonder if Bosh will shoot more 3s this year. He was shooting lights-out when he returned from his injury in the Playoffs.

Its never a bad thing to have a lot of shooters especially since that fits
Miami's style so well. They like to get up and run with small lineup and have perimeter shooters waiting in their spots.... But many heat fans believed they needed a center which they did nothing to address so far.

I was not one of them.. For 3 million what center were we going to get?? (dont say camby because he would be usless against the howards and bynums of the world).. Bottom line is bosh will be our center.. Do I like it not really but we did win a championship with him at the 5 so I guess were fine.. Personally Ray Allen would have been my number one target which it turns out riley agreed so im happy.. Lewis for the min is fine by me.. Juwan howard made the min..
