    Mozzy good backup center.

And for DEN, they need to trade depth for a star, Gallo is very good, but it doesn't appear he is going to be that star they need.
I see you pushing this trade suggestion a lot. Both in the Wolves forum, and the main board. I like Farried, and I like Danilo, but I don't like this trade. We don't get anybody to potentially build around.

Wow that didn't take long for the trade suggestions. He is going nowhere and by the end of the season when whe are in the second round of the playoffs this will be a joke.

We all know he's not going anywhere! But it's fun to play GM every once and a while and see what his value is.

Gallinari, Faried, and Mozgov is a superb package and I like it a lot but when your talking about trading a star player like Love I will have to say no to the trade. Love is a top 10 player in the NBA right now and he is the best power foward in the game. Gallinari, Faried, and Mozgov without a doubt will add a lot of depth into the T-Wolves roster for sure. But as of right now it's not a good idea to trade Love.

So let's discuss this. The numbers are being replaced. Faried gets the rebounds, scores, plays D, is mobile and has leaping ability to place next to a heavier Pek. Gallinari hits the 3s and is at first a great back up for AK and then (since AK is turning 32 this year) he can be a great replacement for him. Mozgov is something better than Amundson. Plus you get extra picks to use however you like (trade or pick).
What concerns me is if 2 good contracts down the line are better than a huge contract to a "star" player.
What else does that top 10 player provide? Referee calls? Popularity?

I like almost any trade that gets us Derrick Favors. I have a feeling he will explode next year. And if I had to trade Love, so far, the Denver package is the best by far - either that or Utah would be nice trade partners.

    PSD Grammar Lesson #1:

    a) their - stands for "belonging to them"
    b) there - means "over there" as in location
    c) they're - short for "they are"

True, but its rare to trade a star for a star, its usually a star for a package of players. People fall in love with prospects and potential, but 2 KNOWN, young, very good players that still have upside and are locked in for 4 years? That's tough to get.

Also those 2 guys to me seem like the perfect pairing to play with Rubio, Faried and Gallo play the game the right way, they are not just about stats.

I almost like MIN better with that trade, the defense improves, and you can then trade Dwil and add another good piece. Dwil for Affalo?

    Pek/Mosgov
    Faried\Dwil
    Gallo/AK\Budinger
    Shevd/Barrea
    Rubio/Ridnour

I think that team is significantly better than DEN's team last year and a 50 win team with growth potential. Legit 10-11 deep.

I agree as I already have said if Millsap is in. On the other hand that would mean that Utah will pair Love with Al. And that was the reason Al left Minny.
Kind of the same with Smith from the Hawks. He would be going to a winning team, we would be taking someone who can replace him, but Love and Horford have been fighting like little girls when we have played.
And now that I remember it, last time we played Denver, Love got into a fight with Koufos (who for some reason unknown to me -despite the fact he is Greek-) Karl envisions as the starting C of that team.

Love and Koufos had no problems playing on the same team.

Jim Peterson said that last game that Koufos told people he thought that he was better than Love and that they didn't get along well.

I understand everyone is peeved at Love, and he hasn't returned to form yet, but no way in hell we move him over the next 2 years. That would insane.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I wouldn't trade Love, but I like to think about his trade.

I would love to get Anthony Davis. We're pretty deep in all positions, so we are looking to get a PF in return. Millsap/Favors/Faried etc are nice but Davis can be way better than all of them in a year or two.

Or get a SG, but I don't like the possible options(Reddick)

Number 1 picks usually are pretty off limits. So, I would like Davis, but I'm sure NOLA likes his salary and potential much more at this point than Love's.

As far as the Denver deal, I'm not a fan. Don't get me wrong, I do like Gallo (have since '08) and Faried is a nice player, but you have nowhere to go after that trade. If you get young talent that is poised to break out (you think) or a star wing, the team has upward mobility.

^That's also why I love draft talk and young players. The investment is relatively cheap for what you get when a prospect turns out. The issue is taking the right risks and picking the right guys i.e. Rondo over Gerald Green.
