@JerryZgoda hearing any rumblings on the trade front for #Twolves?
From Zgoda at 1:15 today:
The Pau rumors just won't go away. Usually when there's longstanding interest like that, something often eventually happens
"Let me tell you bout' my BESTFRIEND!"
as much as I was in favor of the Pau rumors to begin with, it doesn't solve the fact that we have no shooters with Bud out, and Love not finding it yet, to go with Shved sucking from long range so far. I mean, our frontcourt would kill teams, but we still need shooters. That being said, I expect Love to get better, and getting Rubio back will give wide open looks instead of contested looks.
Idk honestly how I feel about it. I guess it makes us better short term, and depending on what picks, etc, need to go, I don't know. Just don't want to include Pekovic.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
I just hate giving picks up, though at this point, I don't trust Kahn to draft anyways. Our two best players are still under 25, but I just don't know man.
Torn on it honestly. I would be fine either way. I do think Gasol would have a resurgence if he came and played in Adelman's offense.

Thoughts on this one guys? a pick or something to Denver as well

Kings lineup:
Ridnour
Thornton
Gallinari
Robinson
Cousins
Wolves lineup:
Rubio
Evans
AK
Love
Pekovic
Nuggets lineup:
Lawson
Iguodala
Williams
Faried
McGee
we would have to send out more than JJ/DWill, picks to match salary. A third team would probably need to be involved.

You really think Derrick Williams would be a starting SF for Denver?

Here is what I found on the Pau rumor.
Not sure how credible that is. Seems made up.

seems very suspect.
The only way to get Pau without losing Pek right now is to trade away all of Barea, Ridnour, Williams and Cunningham. I suppose there might be a way after December 15th involving Roy (if he's going to retire) and or Stiemsma. Just for fun, I created a Laker's fan style trade I like to call "Lakers win"

We just have so many small deals, versus a stupid big one that makes a Pau trade realistic. I am not on board with giving up Dwill, JJ, and Pek for Gasol, while taking on another small deal.

I don't trade with the Lakers. Period. They're arrogant - it's not even worth the time picking up the phone. They love the - your player doesn't like you so right off the bat we will only offer 60% of his true value type deals. It pisses me off how powerful the players (who should be pawns in this game, not shot callers) are.
I don't even answer the phone.
