If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
I know there have been changes with the new CBA but my understanding is that they can have 15 signed but only 13 "active". I could not find anything that said that changed.
We currently have only 10 players (I don't count Hummel) so we have room to sign 5 guys as far as I know. Is that not correct?
early thursday get Lee's agent on the phone come to terms sign the deal. Sign Hill. Make Blazers overpay for Batum. Roy, Shevd, Hill, Lee, Cunningham. Good offseason IMO
We just traded our 1st round pick because we needed quality wings. So far, Buddinger is probably our best move of the offseason so tading him for another PG makes no sense.
Altogether, trading for Calderon whatsoever makes no sense. We already have quality backups at a much cheaper price. If anything, we'd be looking to trade onw to open up a little more cap space.

That would be my choice- maybe that would get his attention!
No. It's the same surgery, but knee business usually takes a good 9 months to get back to 100% and they didn't want him to re-tear it going too hard with 2-a-days and a condensed schedule of likely high minutes. Remember, he only got about 12 minutes a game when he played and was still working his way back.

That's too bad. He is the player I was looking forward to seeing this summer.
PSD Grammar Lesson #1:
a) their - stands for "belonging to them"
b) there - means "over there" as in location
c) they're - short for "they are"
Not sure if I would go here but when the dust settles I wonder if Toronto would send Calderon to us for JJ (or Luke) and Johnson. Maybe try to get a pick back also. Johnson is a bit useless, and I like Calderon much more than JJ and a bit more than Luke. Also would really help Rubio as he is Rubio's mentor. He is on his last year and likely to sign next year much cheaper or 10 mil comes off of the cap. Win/Win?
