    Knicks re-sign JR Smith

Ian Begley @IanBegley J.R. Smith has re-signed with the #Knicks, league sources tell ESPNNewYork. Smith's deal is for 2 years, $2.8 mil w/player option for 2nd yr.

What a day for Knicks fans including my self! Bench is looking good with Kidd, Camby, Novak & Smith!

wow great deal. I was afraid he would get like 4-6 million/year. Amazing deal for Knicks.

    Nice!

Knicks have pretty much re-signed everyone I was hoping for, and gotten improvement in almost every spot that was weak...

Only thing left is a nice SG and vet players and it's a pretty solid off season in my eyes.

Makes sense.. we get his bird rights next year and then can pay him 6+ mil a year... plus its home to him (from Jersey)

Yeah, I thought he'd get way more than that. I'm not a fan of his, but pretty good deal.

You really think that's the plan? They're going to be getting destroyed by taxes - that extra $6m or more could cost them three or more times that.

that's what I meant. I know he has talent, but w/ that talent comes some of the world's worst basketball IQ I have ever witnessed in my life.
