Leandro Barbosa (signs with Sixers; 4 years, 36M)

    Mr. Barbosa,

The Pacers front-office just wanted to let you know that we think when given the opportunity you are amongst one of the best 6th men in the league. Your skillset gives defenses problems with your speed and ability to break down opposing defenses. With that said we wanted to find a team that could offer you a chance to excel in that 6th man role. We found a team that was very excited to try and attempt to add you to their line-up.

Mr. Barbosa, we have agreed to a S&T with the Milwaukee Bucks that would re-unite you potentially with long-time friend, Steve Nash in which they are trying to acquire via S&T as well. They want to give you a chance to prove once again to the league how dangerous of a 6th man you are.

They want to offer you a contract that is a 4 year deal worth $17,112,765 with Player Options after the 1st year. This is a chance to shine as a 6th man on a team that envisions success for you.
    Year 1: $4,000,000
    Year 2: $4,180,000 (PO)
    Year 3: $4,368,100 (PO)
    Year 4: $4,564,665 (PO)

We hope to hear from you soon Mr. Barbosa.

    Leandro,

Everything the Pacers GM stated is accurate. We are enamored by your skillset. We have always seen you play ever since your Phoenix days. Your ability to attack the paint at will is a skill that not many NBA players have. We are currently in the process of maybe acquiring your former teammate in Steve Nash and we currently have Shawn Marion who you know quite well from Phoenix as well. Our main goal here in Milwaukee is to win a title and feel like you would be the perfect bench player to add to our mix of guys. We will give you the PO after every year in case you want to opt out and test free agency after any of those years.

We can't wait to hear back from you. Thanks Leandro.

Mr barbosa I can't believe these two aren't aware of your...relationship with Nash. We in Charlotte would like to offer you a two year deal at 2 mil per.

    Thank you

    Thanks for the Memories Suarez!

My client is excited by the Bucks presentation and appreciates the Pacers honest approach from the beginning.

No decision at this time, but obviously Leandro is leaning toward signing with the Bucks and creating a potential reunion with former Suns teammates Shawn Marion and Steve Nash.

    Mr. Barbosa,

Once we re-evaluate our cap situation we will be back with another potential S&T, but at the same time, you are an UFA so we understand if another offer comes along and you can't refuse and accept it.

    Thank you.

My client is honestly a little surprised he doesn't have more options in front of him. He's considering Charlotte's offer, but will wait for more opportunities to come along before making a decision.

    Mr. Barbosa,

The Chicago Bulls would like to offer you a contract. You would be competing for the starting SG spot.

    Year 1: $2,000,000
    Year 2: $2,000,000

    Total: $4,000,000

    Mr. barbosa

We would love to have you in Dallas as our 6th man. Here is our offer:

    Year 1: 3,250,000
    Year 2: 3,500,000 (PO)
    Total: 6,750,000

You will be our primary backup for Courtney Lee which will great a great defensive-offensive duo, as well as see minutes at PG. We need to hear from you soon though Leandro, as we will only have this much to offer for a little while longer.

Leandro is happy to have some options now. He likes the situations in both Dallas and Chicago. The difference in green makes Dallas the current leader for his services, but should the Bulls guarantee a starting role he would lean toward signing with them.

    Mr. Barbosa
We would like to offer you our Mini MLE. You can flurish next to Nash, Dwight and KG and with all the BS surrounding Lee you would be our stating SG. You next to Dwight and Nash, would leave you open so much more then any other team. Dwight gets Doubled in the post and he will look your way to hit the open 3. You are also a verzitle Defender and playing behind Dwight and KG can have you focus more on the offensive side of the ball. No matter what happens with Lee we will have you as our starting SG.,
The deal is with max increases Year 1. 2,500,000
    Year2: 2,575,000 (PO)
    Total: 4,575,000
