Will JaVale McGee get a Max contract?

Everybody is waiting on what happens with Roy Hibbert's Offer Sheet, but once that is figured out the rest of the Centers will start getting deals.

So will McGee get a Max Offer Sheet? He was seeking a Max contract during the season, but now it seems more realistic.

he shouldn't get a max deal but he should make 10 a year.. dude had some unreal plays against the Lakers this past postseason and if he can do that on a regular basis then i would say he's worth the max

If he doesn't, he'll get something very close to it.

Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.

Not quite, Denver has been really quiet and no other teams have offered him anything yet. So probably something close!

I'd say not but the dude is gonna get paid very nicely. Somewhere close to the max, just not quite.

    Thats what I'm thinking.

The Roy Hibbert offer sheet set the bar pretty high at 4 Years, $58 Million.

You could make an argument that McGee has more upside than Hibbert to possibly be "worth" his contract if he keeps improving his skills.

It's an outrage what this league has come to.

Well if Indy matches then I fully expect Portland's offer to go right to McGee (give or take a few million i suppose). Either way I fully expect McGee to make 12 million per year. The rate for centers that can do simple things like rebound has gone thru the roof.

In my opinion, there's zero doubt that he has more potential than Hibbert. It's just his stupidity that's holding him back. We saw what he could possibly be in this league, this year in the playoffs.

True, but if (a huge if, I know) McGee ever gets his head on straight, he has top 5 center potential.
