Lopez should have a big year because the defense of other teams will be worrying about the other all star players on the Nets.

Nets are getting Lopez and Hump extensions done, fast and furious in order to get the Dwight deal done. If we keep Lopez, i think he'll improve drastically next season in Brooklyn.

I wouldnt coorporate if I was Lopez,I would just play out my current contract and walk as a free agent. I would inform my agent max contract or im walking,screw an extension. Yes I kno Lopez is not a max player,but why would he sign an extension after being dangled in trades for Howard multiple times. Its evident he's not featured in their future,he should know that he's being used as trade bait. I know its a business but would you coopprate if you were in his shoes after constantly being in trade talks,also knowing you probably end up getting more money becoming a free agent? I would tell the Nets not interested,a polite way of saying "screw you".

Don't understand why Lopez is being so nice about the way the Nets have treated him... why sign an extension with this team, the second he plays well he will be shipped to Orlando faster than he can ay Mickey Mouse. We have all seen the Nets will do ANYTHING to get Dwight, so Lopez should know that even if he isnt traded this week, he will never have security on this team.
