*you may notice I'm trying to list more obscure stuff that is heavily rooted in 90's nostalgia as opposed to more popular timeless stuff that I really enjoy too like: Alice In Chains, Beck, Nirvana, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Tool, etc.

You guys pretty much nailed it.

90's is what I mainly listen to (with 70's sprinkled in). I think those 2 decades just blow everything out of the water and it's not even close.

Nice call on the Silverchair (love Frogstomp), Porno for Pyros and Seven Mary Three

Candlebox brings back memories. 1st real concert I ever went to. Candlebox, Our Lady Peace and Sponge in either 94 or 95. Man I feel old.

Other obscure 90's tunes I love (well, obscure to some anyway):

    Seaweed - Start With
    For Squirrels - Mighty KC
The Odds - Eat my Brain
Cracker - Low, Get Off This
Screaming Trees - Nearly Lost You
Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns
    Limblifter - Screwed it Up
    Pluto - Paste
Local H - Bound for the Floor, High Fiving MF
Brother Cane - Got No Shame, That Don't Satisfy Me, And Fools Shine On
Stabbing Westward - What Do I Have to Do?
    Gravity Kills - Guilty
Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon
    L7 - Pretend We're Dead
Eels - Novacaine for the Soul
    Superdrag - Sucked Out
Big Wreck - That Song, Blown Wide Open
The Rentals - Friends of P
    Tripping Daisy - I Got a Girl
    Reacharound - Big Chair

And perhaps not alternative but they are getting a mention anyway:
    Down - Stone the Crow
    Helmet - Unsung
    Clutch - Big News I

And also, The Toadies album "Rubberneck" is a heavily underrated album. As is Mad Season "Above", easily one of the best albums out there.

I could go on all night but I'll stop for now. Finally a thread I find worth looking at in the Music forum. Thanks !

    This.

I liked me some Soul Coughing.

My tastes ranged for 90s music. Like Smashing Pumpkins, Third Eye Blind, Oasis, Everclear, Everlast, Green Day, Offspring, Rage, Presidents of the USA, STP, Weezer.

So much good stuff from the 90s. Hell Less Than Jake's best stuff was from the 90s.
