If Galchenyuk could crack the lineup, I would move Desharnais to the wing. I personnaly think Desharnais is good along the boards even if hes small, and alot of his assists come from passes off the half wall.

Galchenyuk and Pacioretty have that American connection, and Pacioretty and Desharnais have that good chemistry.

Putting Erik Cole with Plekanec Gionta will give Plekanec two proven sipers as oppose to last year when he was playing with Gomez Darche or Moen

On the fourth line I would move Ryan White back to his natural position so that we can have a solid 4th line ( Armstrong Moen White all come from western canada)

If the "Who should the Wings pursue?" thread was moved this one should be too.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.

Leafs suck, and will continue to suck and the Wings, the downfall begins. As for the Habs,

    Cole - DD - Max
    Moen - Pleks - Gionta
    Prust - Eller - Leblanc
    Bourque - White - Armstrong

    Subban - Gorges
    Markov - Emelin
Boulllion - Diaz (likely a trade for a big shutdown guy)

I love Moen but he can't be on our top 2 lines. Moen - Eller - Bourque 3rd line

We still need a 2nd line winger. Jagr would of been perfect for a year but that 4.55 million was ridiculous

That Moen Eller Bourque line could be good if Bourque shows up. I just couldnt think of any other player to add some toughness and a little skill to the 2nd line.
I'd love Moen to turn into a Clarkson type player, just going hard to the net, scoring goals, sticking up for his smaller linemates, etc.

The way I see it (providing that Gomez is still on the the team):

    Cole-DD-Patches
    Gionta-Plecs-Galchenyuk
    Bourque-Eller-Gomez
    Prust-White-Armstrong
    Moen

    Subban-Gorges
    Markov-Kaberle
    Emelin-Bouillon
    Diaz

you guys forgot Gomez and Kaberle. Overpaid or not, like it or not, they are playing on this team, Also, I could see the defense pairing switching up until chemistry builds.

Love to see Bourque get traded. I've watched him for too many years here in Caslgary and he is over paid and lazy. Trade him for wahtever you can get... just lose the salary..

That's the worst lineup I've ever seen.

Gotta agree with Sens, that lineup sucks. If Galynchuk makes the team, then I could see DD getting traded and not much coming back since MB would likely try and throw in Kaberle (regardless Kaberle and Gomez do not make this team, whether you like it or not):
    Leblanc-DD-Pax
    Prust-Pleks-Gio
    Cole-Eller-Moen
    Bourque-White-Armstrong

    Subban-Gorges
    Markov-Emelin
    Boullion-?????

    Lol at the Defensive pairing.
The team is small beyond any belief.
Diaz, Gorges, Bouillon, Subban, Kaberle (because he avoid the beef at all cost)
Markov..? Still nobody knows, last time I herd about him was in february.
And I haven't look at our center yet /sigh
Moen is in the lineup 100% sure.
Gomez will be injured to an undisclosed upper body injury.
Eller might not fit with Therrien or the opposite, Bourques too, Desharnais I really like the guy but plenty like him in the system, Diaz, Kaberla are all expandable, even Plecky.
Replaced by Tinordi, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Leblanc, Geoffrion, heck why not Kovalev.
