    To each his own. Like I've stated, he can be a serviceable 3rd line player. And numbers state that Sarich still can play top 4 on teams in this mock as well.

    I'll agree with you that Sarich is a 4 and that Spacek is a top 4, probably on a lot of teams in this mock haha. But Aaron Asham isn't a 3rd liner. He's a good 4th liner, like Mike Brown with the Leafs.

    I point to Daniel Paille as an example of a serviceable 3rd liner. You don't want to put him there, but he can play on the 3rd line if need be. Hence the word serviceable. He's a great 4th liner.

    Yeah most of the defensemen listed probably can get regular playing time on many teams in the mock.

    Agreed. It also depends who he plays with. Asham is trash, but if he is surrounded by players who can raise his game a bit, then it could work. If he is with other trash, its a recipe for disaster.
