lol I wouldn't loose hope so quick. If I remember Tony was running pretty bad this time of year last season. Remember the Michigan race in August where he said something to the affect that "We're just really junk right now and don't deserve to be in the Chase?" He barely made the Chase and the rest is history. Kyle can be really streaky so I don't think its over for him by any means.

He made it in on points though. This hasn't been an issue in recent weeks, its been an issure the entire season. It's not a matter of the driver being in a funk or the pit crew screwing up or the Crew cheife making bad calls. It the equipment plain and simple. Its like Gibbs is buying his stuff from a junkyard or something.

One of the luckiest wins I've ever seen in my life, but I'll take it after the year Gordon has had so far. Between the blown tires, pit penalties, loose lugnuts, wrecks, engine problems, David Reutimann, etc., it's about time Gordon had something go his way.

^^^It can happen but only on road courses. The problem is Nascar races on road courses only twice a year.

Lol the funny thing is there were a couple of proposed dome race tracks but they never went anywhere.

I'm aware. The Nationwide cars only raced in the rain at Montreal if memory serves me correct. I was hoping the Cup series would utilize the rain tires at Watkins Glen last year but then remembered Goodyear hasn't developed a rain tire in years.

Yeah that was one of the worst rain outs i have ever seen. I mean the whole track went completely dark. A friend of mine was at the race and he said him and his dad drove for 4 hours and only got 9 miles due to the weather.
