    Is D-Will worth 20Mil a year?

Simple question. His FG% has taken a hit since he came to NJ, (I realize defences have been able to focus on him more, but it also seems like he benefitted alot from Jerry Sloan's system) and considering they already have JJ at the same salary, and hope to get DH12 (who will also be a max contract player), it seems that the salary cap will be taken up by three players alone, meaning every other player's salary will be over the cap.

Is D-Will worth this much money? Or will this turn into one of those toxic contracts that everybody shakes their head at.
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$. And I'm all out of bubble gum.

He's a product of Jerry Sloan's system that have made greats like Carlos Arroyo and Raul Lopez

Had a bad two years by his standards, but his role was much different than it was in Utah. I think with some better players around him he won't be depended on to shoot as much as he did in the past season.

To answer the question, YES of course he was the best PG in the game a few seasons ago (only because CP3 missed some time :P)

I really can't tell you who deserves a Max-contract nowadays. It lost value in my eyes with some of the players who have received it this year.

I think he is especially when you've traded away so much you would have to give him a max.

    No.

Yes, he is a very good player, but he is not marketable and that's a big factor. He's also consistently struggled with health and staying in shape. Nothing major, but always had something keeping him out the past 3 years.
