We'd love to see you post up on the block on a big lineup and give Gasol room to move to the high post. You're also a phenomenally effecient scorer. Mr. Dampier simply sees the Rockets as more of a title contender at this point. The money was the same between the Magic and the Rockets, and the threesome of Nash, KG, and Dwight was too good to pass up.

Dwight is coming off surgery and Kevin's minutes have been declining the past few seasons, so not only does Erick like the chance of playing for a title contender, he likes the idea that he will be able to legitimately contribute to a title contender.
