Yah welcome to mediocrity for a while.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.

I like the sound of this. Even if we don't get him at least he won't play for the Pens if this is true.

Edit: And three more people just tweeted this as well. It's official now.

Minnesota also got Parise. I'm glad it was them over a team like the Pens or Flyers but damn this sucks.

I hope we trade for Weber now.

Now we know why one wouldn't make a decision without the other. Let the bidding war for Carle and Yandle begin. I wouldn't be suprised if the Wings grab Kubina. Semin's and Doan's stock just soared.

    Is Yandle even available?

Supposedly Yandle was available. Who knows now. I realize we are upset, but how would you like to be a Devils' or Preds fan. They got strung along just like we did.
The Wings main priority has to be the D. I had heard rumors at one time the Wings were looking at Rozsival. The Wings will fill the holes. They always do.

It sounds like Carle is Holland's option on D now

There really isn't much left. A lot of teams are going to be in scramble mode now. Guess Philly should have been concentrating on Carle, instead of running the price up on Parise/Suter.

These are the D's that were rumored to the Wings at one time - Carle, Roszival, Kubina, Colaiacovo, all FAs and still available. Yandle as a trade rumor. The Wings still have to sign Quincey.
I will be curious to see the offer Suter/Parise accepted.
