    according to Real_ESPNLeBrun Pierre LeBrun
Neither Suter nor Parise are guys that crave attention.

I wonder if this is how both of them feel now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YvAYIJSSZY

^If thats the case they handled this all wrong. Honestly, you can't tell me these guys don't have an idea of the kind of money coming there way and who they may like to play for before free agency even kicks off.

Never listen to anything Eklund says. He is wrong 99.9% of the time.

Here is a good updated story on Parise. It gives one a better perspective on why it is taking so long.

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/161245225.html

It states - The teams in the running are believed to be his hometown Wild, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Detroit Red Wings and the team that might be tugging on his heartstrings the most, the Devils, who drafted him in the first round in 2003.

Having Chelios to recruit is nice but blood is thicker than water, lol. Didn't think we'd lose Suter to Hawks.

    John Jaeckel ‏@jaeckel
Late word: The Red Wings had Chelios recruiting Suter, the Hawks . . . a guy named Gary Suter. #unconventionalwisdom

    Okay. Can we assume 100 mil by 13 = 7.69, or better yet 90 mil by 13 = 6.92
Zach Parise does not deserve that type of money.
