The Rangers were in no way going to give Prust 2.5 mil per season. With Mitchell gone now, it also opens up a spot for one of the younger kids to come up, maybe Marek Hrivik.

I know there's plenty of haters, but I'd still like to see the Rangers sign Def Jason Garrison.

The only thing is, hes a left handed defenseman. McDonagh, Staal, and Del Zotto are lefty defensemen.

Gawd....Asham, really? Not a fan of this at all unless he gets his head straight as he's the type of player who takes bad selfish penalties not like Prust at all. I really think this is a poor man's Prust, a really really really poor man.

He will demand 5M a year, no thanks. Unless of course we move MDZ for Nash then I say maybe.

Not bringing Prust back means we're penny pinching which means Sather might try to do something big. Hope we don't **** this up.
