sounds like either a mega deal offer for Parise brewing up that will blow him out of the water, or a trade brewing that will require the Flyers to take on a huge contract (Nash, please no)
Aren't we also near the contract limit, as well? Or well...will be once we sign the new draft picks.

And over the last year, both Gus/Bourdon have passed him as players in the defensive rotation.

People ask me, "Why here? Why Kentucky?", I said "Why not"? It can be done here. It will be done here. Lay the foundation. Recruit and develop. Prepare to win. Day by day. Play by play. A new era of high performance. Why Kentucky? Why not? -Mark Stoops

yea you may be right, looks like they are at 42, and will resign at least 5 of their FA's. Leaving room for just 3 free agent contracts.

Usually new draft picks dont sign their first year.

Guess they felt Bart had hit his ceiling. Sad.

I find that odd to be honest. I have always felt like Bart was a very solid guy on the blueline, he just never got an extended shot. What's worse is that Bourdon has looked just down right bad. I would not be happy if he was top 6.
