I don't think offering Parise or Suter that much is worth it. We will have to deal with our young players wanting extensions later on as well. Not to mention Giroux getting a big pay day.

All I'm going to say about Praise is it just reminds me of a Cliff Lee/Jagr situation...those guys were signing the Yankees, Rangers, Penguins...oh wait...there are other teams interested...Philadelphia is involved....BOOM!...they sign with Philly.

I just think if Sid the kid was going to have that much impact on Praise's decsion, he would he signed today. The longer he waits, the more I think there's another team he;s strongly considering.

That's assuming two things:

1) he doesn't resign in Nashville
2) he doesn't get traded and sign somewhere else.

People need to remember: just because someone is scheduled to make it to FA doesn't mean they're going to make it to FA. Sometimes, the now is better than hoping that the future makes it.
