just talked to my source again and he said homer is trying hard to make a trade to get ryan and get rid of one of our centers he said its not schenn or courts and everybody knows its not g so i think we are dumping brieres cap hit somewhere

That makes it seem like all that's holding it up is Briere waiving his NTC... I don't know why ANA or Briere would want to do this, but hey, worth a shot, I guess? Then again, it could just as easily be Read or Talbot.

They are trying to get Suter and Parise so they have to save all cap space till those two sign

agreed... I would be happy if we got them but sad because of how over paid they are...If we do not I would be just as happy...I just think its an extreme over pay

I don't see us making any big moves but not for lack of effort....I wouldn't give my hopes up people. On the bright side, the young talent we have will only get better...so that's always the plus about having highly talented young players that continue to develop each year. It's almost like getting high priced free agents
