    Thats why I'm interested to see what players/picks would be given up to acquire Scola. Maybe a couple could be useful to the Lakers and they wouldn't have to take on Scola's contract

    I was already thinking the same thing. Amare and Douglas for Scola and Martin sort of package.

    Houston gets an All Star level Talent in the frontcourt which they've been craving. And the Knicks get players better suited to play with Carmelo. Scola a smarter player than Amare and Martin a great 3pt shooter from the corner.

    I would love to see this trade go down. Hopefully, Scola and Martin could come off the bench. Imagine.

    Vet Pg/Lin
    Shumpert/Martin/ Jr Smith
    Fields/ JR Smith/ Novak
    Carmelo/ Scola/ Novak
    Chandler/ Jeffries/

    I think they could compete.

    True, but Scola is also owed over thirty million dollars. I should have said, a player with value and a large multi-year deal.
