I would love to make a deal with Detroit for one of their centers or Hickson/draft pick from Blazers.

Don't think he'd work with the Blazers with LMA and Batum.
3 team trade can always work out.
I forgot to say Cousins as well.
Suns interested in Smoove
Hello,
We are looking to engage in exploratory talks for Josh Smith.
Marcin Gortat, Beasley, and a conditional 2nd rounder will be our initial offer.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
JPHX
General Manager PSD Phoenix Suns
Gortat, Dudley and a 1st would be the counter offer. Contracts match, we want no part of Beasley (but need a wing like Dudley) and we want to rebuild so a 1st would have to be included.
Teague/Harris
Korver
Dudley
Horford
Gortat
is what we would like from a Smith trade. Coming into this draft with 3 picks could net us a top 3 selection hopefully.
2015 Lakers first? I believe it is has the same protections as the lakers pick we get this year.

It's a gamble, I agree, but I think most folks would want a prove commodity in any potential deal also. Sorta like cap space: There are no guarantees, but it's usually better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.Originally Posted by westside

The stories about the Suns being interested in Josh Smith are ridiculous, there is zero interest there -ZERO!Gambadoro (@Gambo620) / PHX Radio Host@AlexKennedyNBA @ryguyaz I triple checked it, Suns have NO interest in Josh Smith. And have never even had a conversation with ATL about him
Gambo is normally reliable (he was on top of those Justin Upton trade rumors), so takes this for what it's worth.
Hmm, interesting. I hope we pull something...
When/if Drew gets fired, the first phone call I'd make is to the soon-to-be-fired Lionel Hollins. He's obviously not a big fan of advanced metrics, but as a coach and leader of men, he is the anti-Drew and his Grizz do everything you want a team to do: They get the ball in the post on offense, they hit the glass, they play tough defense, and rarely get out-hustled. What has held Memphis back these past few years is poor outside shooting, but he's not responsible for acquiring those kind of players, that's on the front office. As soon as they let Hollins go, we should be recruiting him like one of next summer's free agents.

Doesn't look like any trade gonna happen...
^Many of the reliable NBA reporters say Ferry's fielding calls for a number of different moves though. We'll see.
