Mayo Will Not Be Tendered; Becomes UFA

    Dan Wolken ‏@DanWolken
OJ goes UFA RT @CAGrizBlog: Griz issue qualifying offers to Arthur, Speights, making them RFA. Won't issue QO to Mayo or Hudson.
    Dan Wolken ‏@DanWolken
@casey_young He will get offered higher than his QO anyway. Griz admitting he's gone.

Where does he go? Boston was willing to trade for him, so I'm sure they'll make an offer. Any other potential teams interested?

Wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota chases him.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I don't want the C's to make an offer to him. He's such an inefficient shooter. I don't see the point in overpaying for this guy when you can find 40% FG shooters anywhere.

Indiana has tried to get him through trade for a while now... I wouldnt be surprised if they push hard for him.

    Jazz Hands!

S&T to the Lakers. Grizzlies always treasured Josh McRoberts for some reason (and were willing to make a Mayo-McRoberts swap a yr ago with Indiana), and they need a legitimate back up to Conley as the other 3 guys they have are way too young to contribute in the playoffs for them (Josh Selby, Jeremy Pargo and Tony Wroten).

Josh McRoberts + Steve Blake + 2013 1st rd pick to Memphis for OJ Mayo.

If somebody does what the 2nd tweet says, they overpaid.

Any team stupid enough to pay Mayo more than his $7.4M qualifying offer deserves to be stuck with that bad contract.

    Wins needed countdown: 12
