“To the people in Seattle that trust me and believe in me, I’ll say this: I’m not going to disappoint anybody. I’m going to do my best. This Seattle Mariners team is going to be on top. Believe me…I will do my best, or more than my best, to get to the point of the playoffs. I’m not going to disappoint Howard and Chuck. I’ll tell you this: We are going to make the playoffs.” - Felix Hernandez

Last year Doug Baldwin shocked us all at making the pro bowl. What player will shock us again this year?!?

Off limit choices include anyone who has been to a pro bowl already, and I'm also going to say Bruce Irvin because it's too easy of a choice.

My pick is Richard Sherman. I know he had a great season last year so from the Seahawks fan base this wouldn't be a surprise, but I really think he's going to turn into a shut down corner this year.

Uh, Doug Baldwin didn't get anywhere near the Pro Bowl.

    Let's assume he meant Browner.

Anyway, surprise pro bowler? I expect Sherman to make it so that won't be mine. I'm gonna go with Max Unger. I think he began to build a reputation last season and will continue to improve. Lynch will get eyes in his direction.

Another big surprise candidate: Kellen Winslow Jr.

The Seahawks are giving QB G.J. Kinne a tryout during training camp. I remember seeing an ESPN special on his father (HS coach) being shot and the school being on lockdown. Maybe he ends up on the PS or something. He's a hardworking kid that needs some work.

The Seahawks signed Max Unger to a multiyear extension according to KJR. Awesome.
