He made a costly interception tonight, but the defense let it come down to that, giving up that 70 yard TD catch with 31 seconds left. Feel bad for Manning.

As for AP, the MVP is always a QB. They need to just invent a different award for non-qb mvp.
I understand the amount of work Manning must have put in... HOWEVER...

Seriously? AP came back from a torn ACL and MCL in 9 months (which some people wouldn't even be back for) and was a first down from Dickerson's record.

    ^Word.

Some people think one should get one, one should get the other just to be "fair" or something. I think that's completely illogical. AD deserves both.
You have no idea how excited I am right now.

Manning came back from 3 neck surgery's. His career was suppose to be over. He missed a whole season. AP missed one game. When I think comeback player I think of missing the whole season and coming back, not one game. So yes I do think Manning should be comeback player

It'll be interesting who wins the MVP and the Comeback player of the Year. I don't know the answer, but can someone win BOTH?

This is exactly my thought process on it.

I really think AP deserves the MVP but I can see the voters doing the exact opposite, which would be totally wrong.

Adrian Peterson is backpacking his team as a running back. Once again, he almost broke Dickerson's record. He had no business being at the level he was playing at.

His draft stock fell because of his injury and nobody thought he would be as effective as soon as he was. The guy is a quick healer. It's incredible how quickly he came back but it wasn't like he missed a significant amount of time and came back. Peyton was out an entire year and had several moments where there was question if he'd ever play again. There wasn't that type of sentiment with Peterson.
