Portis is a luxury imo. We already got a good backup and a qbotf. He is not a big loss.

I've heard he's been playing like ****. He was playing really good, but I've seen a bunch of tweets from very credible people that say he's been probably THE worst starting MLB in the league.

I'd say it's worth a shot. I mean, obviously the talent is there... If we got him back up to speed, we'd be looking at KJ, Wags, and him for a long time.
Doubtful, but I wouldn't mind giving him a shot.

Well he has been terrible this year but has new coach, regime, ownership, direction, scheme. Several starters got cut or traded for no other reason then hit reset button. Does no one think he finally just got depressed for having to play for the Raiders? If Pete can get true McClain it would be nice to have.
