My friend: I think the NBA payed off the Heat in the first yr because of the politics. They threw game four and they payed Lebron because they were angry with what he did. So he had pay one way or another.
There is no one in the draft coming out and trading players isn't going to happen. The Lakers are in trouble.

I don't see anything wrong with this. This is a good piece to start rebuilding through the draft.
Rondo, Bradley, Rivers is a good guard rotation.

They will most likely have to give up bradley to get high enough...so Rondo Rivers Pierce Garnett Fab Melo?? They need a big man. Id rather have Rondo Bradley Pierce Garnett Drummond. But my heart wants rivers haha just because of the hype and father son combo would be quite interesting

There is conflict of interest written all over this. This is going to blow up at some point. If he's not working out Doc may be accused of giving him too much time, and if he gets traded... well, who knows how Doc will take it. And if Doc gets fired not telling what his son will do if he's still on the team. If I was Boston this would be the last player I'd want to draft.

I'd rather keep Bradley and stay put in the draft. I'm all for moving up, but only if we can keep both Rondo and Bradley (which doesn't seem all that likely unless somebody actually wants Pierce). I wouldn't mind seeing Rivers here, but I don't think he is worth what it would take to trade up for him especially since there are such interesting prospects that might fall to the Celtics at 21 and 22.
