Renowned NY Times writer ditching Knicks for Nets!

Great PR move for the Nets. NY times is going to have Howard Beck pimping the team and putting good coverage. This will do alot for acquiring new fan. NY Times is an international news paper. Great job Proky!

Wow, blown away by the many kind tweets (and even the not-so-kind). Thrilled to be covering Nets' historic first season in Brooklyn.

Lol The Nets are in New York City now, they were going to be in the NY times anyways. And last year, Al Inzone (Whatever his name is) switched from Nets to Knicks last year. So, It's pretty common. There was a few Laker writers that switched to the Clippers.

Lol. He was re-assigned to the nets because they need somebody to cover the team in NY. I didn't see a thread when Al Iazzone left covering the nets to cover the Knicks last year.

Um we are talking about NY Times vs. whoever Al Iazzone is. I'll let you guess who the bigger deal is.

Breaking news: Brooklyn, new york is experiencing 83 degrees fahrenheit with humidity at 29% today. Therefore we conclude that dwight howard is coming to town.

I think Howard Beck can give the Nets about 7 or 8 points off the bench, 3 rebounds maybe, but you shouldn't expect to much out of him.
