he scored a good amount.. looks pretty good for a 2nd rounder
WOW! REALLY?......
DF better have something big up his sleave after this draft. And by big I mean DH12!
Bilas was right about that. Scott was a great scorer in college. Could probably play the 3 or 4.
OK I'm beginning to see a plan coming together: Two experienced high value guys who can put up points. Offense was the Hawks' problem and these two can definitely get buckets.
Nothing new to me. More college "experienced" vets coming in to help the "core". We will see how he fills out the roster being over the cap.
i heard gladyr might play with us this year, anyone else hear thi?

If you guys don't know about Scott, youtube some of his vids and check those box scores in the links above.
vs FSU - 28pts 10rbs
vs UNC - 18pts 6rbs
vs Duke - 23pts 9rbs
vs Michigan - 18pts 11rbs
vs Maryland - 35pts 11rbs
vs NC State - 18pts and 23 pts
^Arguably the best teams/front lines he faced. Talented dude who didn't have much help around him, but still showed up vs the best competition until they got knocked out in the tourney. We'll see how he adapts at the next level though, and if he can handle it, if Drew can do a better job with his rotattions.

"Jenkins was projected to go later but Larry Drew says #Hawks thought he'd be off board."
Of course.
Larry Drew: "We have guys who can command dbl tms and break people down. Who better to pass to than a knock-down shooter?"
Only 1 guy I can count and that is Joe. Who else "commands double teams"?
He's supposed to be playing in summer league this year, but we'll have to see how the contract buyout works. (You know it can gets ugly with that sometimes.) He played in Hawks summer league a couple seasons ago but wasn't ready, way too early. Hopefully he's matured since then.Originally Posted by hawksd911
How old is he now? 25?
Well our three best players are all scoring threats (can put up 18+ on a given night) even though they aren't "elite" scorers so he's right about that.Originally Posted by *Silver&Black*
You can't think of it in the context of Lebron or KD type guys. Joe, Josh and Al draw doubles, that's one reason the hawks shot such a high 3PT% last season (5th overall in NBA).

This kid I went to HS with plays with him at Virginia which is pretty cool. He can definitely score.
You still talk to this "kid" haha if so any insight scouting reports?
So before FA begins next week and trades, we can guess the rotation is:
Horford-Pachulia
Smith-Scott
Williams-??????
Johnson-Jenkins
Teague-?????
And they have to make a decision on Ivan (qualifying offer to match any deal) by June 30th.
