    Mike Alstott

Mike Alstott Hall of Fame Worthy?

Buccaneers AllTime leading scorer(not including kickers)
    1359 Rushing Attempts
    5088 Rushing Yards
    58 TDs

    305 REC
    2284 REC Yards
    13 REC TD's

    And just a Classy guy.
Was tha most dominant rushing full back in tha league for tha longest time.
He really actually gave a new meaning to the Full Back position .. was mostly a blocking position before Mike .... But after being selected to 6 [straight] pro bowls ..The word got out.., The A-Train can RUN.

My opinion is that he was an outstanding player, but I think he's probably a borderline case for the Hall of Fame.

He will be in the HoF, one of the best "rushing/catching fullbacks of this and past generation(90's). He was a good run and pass blocker. Still plays at an elite level. I believe he is the only fullback that was great in everything he did. Remember fullbacks are a dying breed and he is one of the last great ones to play that position overall

He is a dying breed of the big basher i think, and the shift has begun to the pass catching quicker FB. And i know whenever i played Madden i would always trade for him because i thought he was/is the best FB in the game today. Because personally i love to bash the football at you straight down the gut. Just my style and thats why i would give Mike a yes.

I don't think he'll get in. FB is an overlooked position nowadays.

He should. He has all that had been said before but he has a Superbowl win to boost his chances also.

Its the Hall of Fame not the Hall of Good. He had a very good career but nothing Hall of Fame worthy IMO.

He won't be first ballot, but he might be the last great all around fullback. The NFL is leaning away from fullbacks these days and he just might be the last great one to play. I actually think he will make it eventually because he is one of the greatest to ever play his position.

He'll get in, but not for a good while. I really see him getting in 20 years from now, when the old timers committee puts his name on the ballot. I don't think sportwriters are going to ever vote him in, but a group of his fellow players will.
